Sofel will be building an offshore module, which is scheduled for delivery in 2010, for the unnamed client.
This contract comes four months after Ezra's offshore fabrication yard in Vietnam, Sofel's parent HCM Logistics, landed a $103.1 million construction and assembly job, which is also due for delivery in two years' time.
HCM has fabrication facilities in Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau and is planning to expand its services to include crew training because of the global shortage of skilled crew in the offshore industry.
