Saipem has snared contracts worth more than $160 million for a pair of rigs to carry out drilling work off Romania and Abu Dhabi.
The semi-submersible Scarabeo 9 will be reactivated from warm-stacking in Cyprus to carry out a one-well contract for an unnamed operator in the Black Sea off Romania.
Meanwhile, Saipem’s jack-up Perro Negro 8 has been taken on a new four-year contract with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company off the United Arab Emirates.
