Contract driller Rowan located the wreckage of its LeTourneau 52-class slot jack-up rig Rowan New Orleans, which capsized and sank in 155 feet of water in the Main Pass area off Louisiana.
A Rowan source said the company is looking to line up Smit International for the salvage job.
The rig will be cut up on the seafloor and lifted in pieces.
