The board of US operator SandRidge Energy is considering offers to sell the company as it continues battling with activist investor Carl Icahn over board appointments. The company has been involved in an ongoing spat with the billionaire, who recently called for the replacement of the current SandRidge board with his own list of candidates. Icahn’s nominees have all worked for him in some capacity.
