Australian independent Santos has completed a flow test on the exciting Dorado discovery off Western Australia with results "exceeding expectations", writes Russell Searancke.
Testing of the Baxter formation was the first of two planned for the Dorado field, with the primary Caley oil reservoir to be flowed in the coming weeks.
The initial clean-up test at the Baxter reservoir over a 12-hour period achieved a maximum 48 million cubic feet per day of gas and 4500 barrels per day of condensate.
