Australian operator Santos and its joint venture partners are committed to studying liquefied natural gas commercialisation options for the large Crown and Lasseter gas discoveries off north-west Australia, writes Russell Searancke.
The commitment to LNG studies is one of several conditions laid out in three new retention leases that have just been approved by the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (Nopta).
