Australian independent Santos has launched a bidding process for a leased floating production, storage and offloading vessel bound for its US$800 million Ande Ande Lumut heavy oil project in Indonesia.
Up to eight FPSO contractors have been included on the bid list including global giants SBM Offshore and Modec. Others are understood to include BW Offshore, Bumi Armada, Yinson Holdings, Bluewater and CNOOC Energy Technology & Services (CNOOC EnerTech), said sources.
