Malaysia's Sapura Exploration & Production has completed a three-well exploration drilling campaign off Sarawak with one commercial success, writes Russell Searancke.
The Pepulut-1 exploration well in Block SK 408 hit high-quality reservoir sands, according to the operator's parent company Sapura Energy.
No further detail was provided on Pepulut-1, which is the ninth discovery in SK408.
The second well drilled by Sapura E&P in the same permit was a dry hole called Remujung-1.
