Malaysia’s Federal Court has postponed until 21 June the hearing of national oil company Petronas' application for leave to start proceedings effectively against the Sarawak State government regarding ownership of the country's petroleum resources.
Petronas is seeking a declaration from the Federal Court that it is the exclusive owner of petroleum resources and the industry regulator throughout all of Malaysia, including the East Malaysian states of Sarawak and Sabah.
