When GE Oil & Gas and Baker Hughes joined forces last year, Neil Saunders took over as president and chief executive of the merged organisation’s Oilfield Equipment division.

“In theory, I’ll have been with the same company for 27 years this year,” says Saunders, who holds master’s degrees in both subsea engineering and business administration.
