SBM Offshore and Brazil’s Petrobras are ready to formally signed the charter contract for the Mero-2 floating production, storage and offloading vessel, underlining the Dutch floater giant's return to business in a market where the Car Wash corruption scandal caused a long hiatus in activity.

The clock for the Mero-2 schedule started in June when the letter of intent was signed, but the two companies are almost ready to carry out the formalities, Upstream understands.
