Australia’s regulator, the National Offshore Petroleum Safety & Environmental Management Authority (Nopsema), has asked ExxonMobil to provide more details for its proposed Sclupin-1 deep-water well in the Gippsland basin off the coast of Victoria.
ExxonMobil lodged a new environment plan last month for drilling the probe in the Vic/P70 permit.
