A Brazilian judge has revealed the names of almost 100 politicians and officials who will be investigated for alleged involvement in the “Car Wash” bribery scheme that drew billions of dollars in kickbacks from Petrobras contracts over a decade or more.

Justice Edson Fachin, who is responsible for the procedural aspects of an investigation that has reached Brazil’s supreme court (STF), unveiled a list containing eight ministers, amounting to almost a third of President Michel Temer's Cabinet.
