UK junior SDX Energy has again delayed first gas at its South Disouq development in Egypt as the company’s chief executive also quit, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
The London-listed player, which is also lining up drilling campaigns in Egypt and Morocco, said start-up at the project in the Nile Delta region is now expected in the fourth quarter.
In April the company had warned that first gas could be delayed as commercial terms on the early production facility had not been agreed.
