UK junior SDX Energy has warned of a potential delay to first gas at its South Disouq concession in Egypt if the company is unable to secure a lease agreement for the required early production facility, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
“At present, the final commercial terms of the EPF have yet to be agreed,” the London-listed player said this week.
“If ultimately an EPF is not secured, the start-up date for gas production will be delayed until the completion of the main central gas processing facility, currently expected in the fourth quarter of 2019.”
