The seismic vessel Dong Fang Kan Tan 1, formerly the BGP Surveyor, and the BGP Challenger, both owned by BGP, will be ready for service in October this year and available through to April 2013 for the initial programme as part of the 2D seismic scheme known as West Morondova 2012. The shoot will cover up to 14,000 kilometres of seismic.
