SembCorp Engineers & Constructors is more renowned for infrastructure projects than oil and gas. It is a subsidiary of Singapore-listed conglomerate SembCorp Industries, which also owns the dedicated platform builder SMOE.
The company's Indonesian subsidiary PT Sempec will provide engineering, procurement, supply and construction services for three new gathering and testing satellites (GTS), and four remote wellhead platforms.
PT Sempec will also do modifications to the Tambora field's two existing GTSs, which collect, test and transport gas from remotely located gas wells to onshore processing facilities.
