Senegal President Macky Sall has appointed Mouhamadou Makhtar Cisse as his new Petroleum & Energy Minister, one of 32 ministers and three state secretaries in a new Cabinet line-up following his re-election for a second term in February.
Cisse, a business lawyer, was picked from Senegal’s power utility Senelec, where he served as managing director, having earlier served as Budget Minister in the previous administration after a career in customs and excise.
