Seven companies are preparing for a tender issued by Husky Energy and joint venture partner CNOOC Ltd for the provision of a floating production unit, to be located on the MDA field in the Madura Strait offshore Indonesia.
Sources said that 22 companies were pre-qualified in the first round, but only seven companies were shortlisted by the oil and gas producer to submit individual technical proposals for the East Java Sea project.
