The seven contracts cover a combined 269.9 trillion British thermal units of gas, according to upstream regulator BPMigas chairman Raden Priyono.
They include the deal by Australia’s Santos to supply gas from its just-sanctioned Wortel project to Indonesia Power for six years, as well as a heads of agreement under which partners Pearl Oil, Total and Inpex will supply 80 billion Btu per day of gas to Pupuk Kaltim starting in 2012.
