Seven companies are battling to supply Norway’s Kvaerner with anchor handlers to support a job it has been awarded to remove and transport EnCana’s Deep Panuke production platform off Nova Scotia, Canada.

Atlantic Towing, DOF Subsea, Horizon Maritime, Maersk Supply Services, McKeil Marine Limited, Ocean and Secunda are the competing septet and must submit their boids by 19 July.

A contract may be awarded by the end of next month.
