Oil production from US onshore shale basins is set to grow by 85,000 barrels per day in April to nearly 8.6 million bpd, with the prolific Permian driving the increase, writes Caroline Evans.
The Permian of Texas and New Mexico is expected to grow crude production by 40,000 barrels per day to 4.17 million bpd from March to April, according to the US Energy Information Administration's most recent drilling productivity report.
