DUBAI Petroleum has chartered a pair of newly acquired jack-up rigs on two-year contracts from United Arab Emirates-based Shelf Drilling.
The rigs — Shelf Drilling Mentor and Shelf Drilling Tenacious — will both begin their contracts in January 2018. Each contract includes two one-year options. Dayrates were not disclosed.
The Mentor was previously named West Mischief and the Tenacious was previously named West Triton.
