The operator initially targeted the second half of 2006 to bring the crippled development back on stream, but now believes it can resume production as early as 1 June and have oil and gas production back at daily pre-storm levels of 147,000 barrels of oil and 157 million cubic feet of gas by 1 July.
The Mars TLP was wrecked when high winds and waves toppled Helmerich&Payne Rig 201 onboard the platform.
