Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell is now just months away from shipping first gas from its Prelude floating liquefied natural gas project off Western Australia.
Shell Australia’s vice president for Prelude, David Bird, told delegates at the Australasian Oil & Gas conference in Perth this week that all of the “big construction work” has been completed and the project is now considered to be in operation.
