The Anglo-Dutch giant, which already holds 33% of Siemens und Shell Solar, said it had agreed to acquire both the 34% stake held by engineering company Siemens and the 33% held by power utility E.ON.
The deal gives Shell 100% ownership of one of the world's few established producers of solar photovoltaic cells and panels and around a 15% share in the global PV market.
