SHELL is confident about the technical feasibility of a pioneering multi-phase development on its British North Sea Goldeneye gas condensate field and is aiming for sanction during the first half of next year to achieve start-up by the end of 2003. Field partners, now reportedly working together in harmony after earlier wrangles over who would lead this challenging project, have contracted Parsons Energy and Chemicals to study onshore facilities.
