A select group of local and international contractors are preparing to submit bids as soon as next month for a key front-end engineering and design contract covering the upstream facilities required to develop Shell’s Rosmari-Marjoram sour gas fields off Sarawak in East Malaysia.

Industry sources said that leading players including Aker Solutions, McDermott International, Saipem, RNZ, TechnipFMC, Ranhill Worley and Wood are all thought likely to participate in the tender from the Anglo-Dutch supermajor, which covers a sizeable workscope centered around a new central processing platform (CPP).
