Shell has admitted to being badly shaken by ongoing litigation related to alleged wrongdoing in securing OPL 245 off Nigeria which it, together with Eni, acquired from the government in 2011, writes Barry Morgan.
Shell appeared to acknowledge that “trust and hope for the future” had been compromised by unfolding events in Milan, where Italian prosecutors are calling witnesses to give testimony, according to its 2018 annual report published last week.
