Upstream reported last June that the deepest fixed-leg production platform on the US Outer Continental Shelf was up for sale.
In turn, Superior sold a 49% interest in the platform to Dynamic Offshore Resources, which will operate the field.
Installed in 1988, Bullwinkle produces 4000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and serves as a processing hub for third parties.
Currently, Bullwinkle processes about 20,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from four subsea fields.
