Newly-formed, privately-owned Mapan Energy will become the owner and operator of 162,000 net acres (65,560 net hectares) of oil and gas assets and infrastructure in west-central Alberta and northeastern British Columbia, home to the Duvernay and Montney formations.
The package’s average production is about 7000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, of which 90% is natural gas. Total average production for the year is estimated at 6520 boepd.
