Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell expects to trim the number of available options in its tender to charter a floating production, storage and offloading vessel to serve its Gato do Mato pre-salt development off Brazil.
Shell invited four companies — SBM Offshore, Modec, BW Offshore and Saipem — to submit proposals on 8 November to contract a mid-sized FPSO for Gato do Mato.
