Shell is planning to drill more than 10 wells off Mexico in the next two to three years as the Anglo-Dutch supermajor looks to extend its reach in a basin where it has already seen broad success in the US sector, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
The company sees its approach in the Gulf of Mexico as ambitious but is keen to see what the country has to offer, according to the supermajor's country manager Kartik Mutnuri.
