Oil and gas giant Shell is to plough cash into the creation of forests and other ecosystems as part of an effort to combat the effects of climate change.
The Anglo-Dutch supermajor has already struck deals in the Netherlands, Spain and Australia that will see new trees being planted, while it has also hatched a carbon-neutral driving scheme and is investing in rapid electric vehicle charge points.
