Shell has given contractors four months to submit bids to supply a floating production, storage and offloading vessel and subsea hardware for its long-delayed Bonga South West-Aparo (BSWA) project off Nigeria.
Industry sources said invitations to tender were released on 12 February — just days before presidential elections are due to be held — to pre-qualified bidders that must respond by early June with both their technical and commercial offers.
