Shell will have results in the second half of this year from its upcoming wildcat in the Bulgarian sector of the Black Sea, where spudding is just days away.
The Anglo-Dutch supermajor will begin drilling the exploration well on Block 1/14 Khan Kubrat early next month using the drillship Noble Globetrotter II.
“The drilling programme of a single exploration well is expected to commence in April and the well will take around three to four months to complete,” a Shell spokesperson told Upstream.
