Shell has decided to shift a semi-submersible rig to Brunei later this year for a drilling campaign.
The Deepwater Nautilus has been contracted to Shell in Malaysia, but the Anglo-Dutch supermajor has elected to move the rig to Brunei from May to August this year at an undisclosed dayrate.
The rig owner Transocean said Shell has three fixed-price options that would keep the semisub in Brunei until August 2019.
