An exploration plan for the Leesburg prospect lays out seven well locations in Mississippi Canyon Blocks 432, 475 and 476.
The sites lie about 86 miles (297 kilometres) offshore in 6567 to 6683 feet of water, according to documents filed with the US Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE).
