Climate protesters in London have left Shell with plenty to chew on in recent weeks, but could the Anglo-Dutch supermajor be convinced to give up serving meat on its North Sea facilities?

An open letter sent to chief executive Ben van Beurden by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) last week called for just such a measure, urging the oil giant to go vegan in the North Sea for Earth Day on 22 April.
