SHELL is closing in on the sailaway of its mammoth Prelude floating liquefied natural gas vessel, which once it arrives in Australia will enter a crucial period of hook-up and commissioning work.
Sources said a one-month sailaway window starting in late June is the target for the mighty vessel — 489 metres long and 74 metres wide with a weight of 256,000 tonnes.
