Siem Offshore edged out rivals such as Olympic Shipping, Swire Pacific, Havila Shipping and Farstad Shipping, with commercial offers for nine different vessels finishing among the top 10 positions.
Bids were part of a broader tender in which Petrobras received a total of 156 proposals from several international contractors seeking charters for a wide range of AHTSs.
Petrobras divided the tender into five lots, including 1, 2 and 3 for 18,000 bhp-rated AHTSs for delivery in April, July and September, respectively.
