Sierra Leone has thrown open its entire offshore area as the West African nation relaunched its fourth licensing round this week.
Vast swathes of shallow- and deep-water tracts have been offered up in an exercise featuring direct and open tenders.
UK-based advisory company Getech Group is supporting the round, which has been launched after a six-month industry consultation.
Announcing the opening of the round this week, Director General of Sierra Leone's Petroleum Directorate Timothy Musa Kabba said the exercise will utilise a more flexible block framework.
