Sierra Leone will relaunch a licensing round next month, with five blocks across shallow- and deep-water areas to be put up for grabs.
“At the end of April, we will re-launch the licensing round,” Petroleum Directorate director general Timothy Musa told Upstream on the sidelines of the CERAWeek by IHS Markit conference in Houston.
“We are going to offer very competitive blocks with 2D and 3D seismic data.”
