Half-a-dozen leading international contractors or consortia are in the frame for a key engineering, procurement and construction contract for Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations (Adco), involving its $2 billion-plus Bab integrated facilities oilfield project.
Sources close to the tender process told Upstream that technical offers were recently submitted to Adco by the six players, and bids will be technically evaluated by the Abu Dhabi state-owned giant over the next two to three months.
