US operator Noble Energy has selected Heerema Marine Contractors’ newbuild semi-submersible crane vessel Sleipnir to carry out transportation and installation work associated with the Leviathan project off Israel.
It will be the first job for Sleipnir, currently under construction at Sembcorp Marine in Singapore and due for delivery in early 2019. First gas at Leviathan is scheduled for the end of 2019.
