Administrator PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) said Zefier UK II, a Smulders subsidiary, has already acquired Sea & Land Power & Energy, a subsidiary of SLP Engineering, which is based in Lowestoft.
This deal will secure 17 jobs and Smulders has confirmed it will continue to operate this business from Lowestoft in southern England .
In addition, Smulders has secured an “exclusivity period” during which it can complete due diligence on SLP Engineering with a view to purchasing that business as well.
