The final investment decision on the $4 billion Woodside Energy-led SNE project off Senegal remains on track to be taken this year as talks on financing and contracting near completion, writes Barry Morgan.

Led by the London branch of Societe Generale, the SNE joint venture project financing initiative is "progressing and (is) expected to be finalised to facilitate (a final investment decision) in 2019", according to minority partner Far Ltd.
