Cooper Energy has moved ahead of schedule on developing its 100%-owned Sole gas project off Victoria in south-east Australia, writes Josh Lewis.
Cooper managing director David Maxwell said that 70% of the offshore project had been completed by the end of August, beating the original target of 64%.
He said the umbilicals were being loaded out from the UK, while offshore pipelay operations were also expected to start this week.
