South Africa’s government is targeting approval next year for dedicated upstream legislation that it hopes will spark a revival of the country’s oil and gas sector.
Mineral Resources & Energy Minister Gwede Matanshe told delegates at the Africa Oil Week conference that “work is under way of a Petroleum Resources Development Bill (PRDB), which will be before the Cabinet soon".
