Southwestern Energy is looking for a joint venture partner to take an interest in a package of five exploration plays spread across the onshore US in an effort to accelerate appraisal and development of the acreage despite the low price environment.
The US natural gas giant will begin marketing the acreage worldwide this week, chief executive Steve Mueller said.
“That teaser package literally goes out in the next few days and then we will have a group on the road for the next month around the world selling that package,” Mueller said.
